Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Honoured with Fiji’s Highest Civilian Award. The island nation of Fiji has awarded its highest civilian recognition, the “Honourary Officer of the Order of Fiji,” to Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Fiji’s President, Ratu Wiliame M. Katonivere, presented the award to honor Sri Sri’s extensive work in bringing diverse communities together in peace and harmony worldwide.

On receiving the award, Sri Sri shared his gratitude on social media, saying, “Honoured to receive Fiji’s highest civilian award – the Honourary Officer of the Order of Fiji. I thank the President and the people of Fiji.”

The Art of Living: Global Humanitarian Impact

Established by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in 1981, The Art of Living Foundation is a non-governmental organization working in over 180 countries. Its mission focuses on promoting mental health, environmental awareness, education, and empowerment through initiatives in stress relief and meditation. This honor from Fiji makes it the sixth country to award Sri Sri their top civilian distinction, recognizing his work in peacebuilding and humanitarian efforts.
