As part of India’s strong presence, the National Book Trust (NBT), an autonomous publishing body under the Ministry of Education, has introduced notable collections such as:

  • PM-YUVA Series: Emphasizes India’s Freedom Movement and Knowledge Systems.
  • Indian@75 Series: Celebrates India’s journey since independence.

India’s delegation at SIBF includes 52 major publishers, joining over 2,500 publishers from 112 countries. This year, the UAE leads Arab participation with 234 publishers, while the UK tops international representation with 81 publishers.

Morocco holds the title of Guest of Honour for the 2024 edition, showcasing its rich literary and cultural heritage. The fair features 49 international speakers from 14 countries, enriching the event with cross-cultural dialogue and intellectual exchange.

Under the theme “It Starts with a Book”, SIBF 2024 brings together 400+ authors and 600 workshops tailored for all age groups. These workshops, which include exclusive pre-booked sessions, provide unique opportunities to engage with global experts in creative writing.
